Trash Walk - Community Cleanup

We are going to start cleaning up our neighborhoods.  One sector at a time.  Pick Up The Pace is gathering the community together to walk the streets and clean up the trash.   We are grabbing paper, cups, plates, food, any and everything that we can remove that shouldn't be laying in our enivornment.  

We are asking for at least 50 participants that will split into about four to five groups.  We will survey the city of Portsmouth and find starting and ending points for each group.  Each group will go for about an hour, cleaning in the direction towards their end point.  We will stay together as a team for safety and visibility to traffic.  We will gather the trash bags and take a group photo before departing.  

Water will be provided the day of the event.  An email will be sent out for the group meet up location a week prior to the event, one day prior to the event and the day of the event.  Monitor weather.  If any adverse weather shows, we will delay or postpone to the following week.
